THE WEEKLY RHYTHM
A little reading.
A real conversation.
You do not need a perfect speech or a year of plans in your head. Begin with the next meeting.
Before you meet
Read the week in your Father Guide or Mentor Guide. Look up the full Bible passage. Prepare one true story, a few questions and a listening goal.
When you meet
Allow about 45–60 minutes, adjusting to your setting. Reconnect, read the passage, choose a few prompts and listen. Let him ask real questions. Agree on one practical step.
Between meetings
Practice your chosen action. He can write, sketch or reflect in another agreed way. At the next meeting, ask what happened and what he noticed.
Make it sustainable
- Choose a recurring time and a backup plan.
- Use an accessible setting that fits your circumstances.
- Preview sensitive topics before meeting.
- He chooses which personal entries to share.
- If you miss a week, set the next date and continue.
The goal is a closer relationship and a steady turn toward Christ. Completing pages is not a test of anyone’s worth or faith.
ONE MEETING. ONE CONVERSATION. ONE NEXT STEP.
