PRACTICAL GUIDANCE · BY BEN PALMER

Father Guide or Mentor Guide: Which Book Should You Choose?

Choose the adult guide that matches your actual role.

If you are his father

Choose the Father Guide. It makes room for your shared history, your own testimony, listening and repairing mistakes. The weekly structure helps you follow through while leaving room for a conversation that belongs to your family.

If you are a trusted mentor

Choose the Mentor Guide. It follows the same path while helping you work within family and program arrangements. Confirm permissions, suitable settings and concern-response expectations with responsible adults or program leaders.

Give him his own workbook

The Young Man Workbook coordinates with either guide. Its writing space belongs to him. He chooses which entries to share. You can use a fictional example when a personal prompt is not something he wants to discuss.

Add the Cards if helpful

The optional Conversation Cards are a PDF companion for prompts and actions. They do not replace adult preparation. You do not need both adult guides to begin.

Part of 52 Weeks to Manhood, a Christ-centered year of Scripture, conversation and practical growth before eighteen.

ONE MEETING. ONE CONVERSATION. ONE NEXT STEP.

Choose your place to begin.
